Please be advised that CASSA will be holding its AGM on Friday 5PM Week 1, Semester 1 2012.

Where: ECU Mt Lawley, quadrangle area between buildings 16 and 17 (where the Aroma Cafe caravan is).
When: 5PM Friday 2nd March 2012

This is the most important meeting for the year, 2012 wll be an important year for ECU SCSS students with many new and exciting things happening. CASSA has an integral role within the university, and your contribution is always needed.

We will be electing a new committee for 2012 – so if you are the person who wants to embelish your resume with awesomeness – than put your nomination in. Full details for our committee roles and responsibilities are posted on our website in the WIKI – heres the link:

2012 Cyber Defence Uni Challenge

The fee has been set at $100 per year for full-time students, $50 a year for part-time students, and $30 a year for off-campus students. The SSAF is lower at ECU than other universities in Western Australia.

Eligible students will be able to defer payment of the SSAF through the SA-HELP scheme.

The funds collected from the Student Services and Amenities Fee will be allocated to a range of services and expanded initiatives in areas including health, counselling, sport and recreation, social clubs and societies, student welfare, careers advice, student advocacy, orientation, and student representation. Some services will be provided through the Student Guild, others will be provided by the University. All fees, however, will be allocated entirely to student services and amenities.

Please get behind your CASSA club and help us gain access to these services. Your help in 2012 is going to be much appreciated!

Those of you that have paid online will most likely not have nominated a seat. So this post is to help you fix that.

Just a clarification, you are able reserve a seat and turn up on the day and pay at the event. Attendees who have already paid however get priority and there are no guarantees you will get the seat you want.

So we need your help.
